Chocolate Glaze Recipe
- 6 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate pieces
- 1 stick of butter (8 tablespoons)
- 1 tablespoon of light corn syrup
Place the ingredients in a medium heat safe bowl. Place the bowl in a skillet of simmering water. Stir constantly until the
glaze is almost completely smooth, then remove it from the heat. Continue to stir until the glaze is perfectly smooth.
Allow to glaze to cool until it is barely warm. Pour the glaze over the center of the ganache cake. Using a cake spatula,
swipe the glaze (using a few stokes as possible) over the top of the cake and allow it to run down the sides of the cake.
