How to Make Jello Shots

Basic Jello Shot Recipe

• 3 ounces of Jello
• 6 ounces of Water
• 4 to 6 ounces of Vodka or Other Alcohol

There are three simple rules on how to make Jello shooters:

1. Boil the water, then add the liquor and Jello. Stir well and pour into individual plastic shot glasses with lids. Individual jello shot cups with lids make them very easy to store in the fridge and easy to transport to a party.
2. Use the correct ratio of alcohol to Jello. More than 6 ounces of Vodka for every 6 ounces of water will sometimes prevent the Jello from setting up properly.
3. Keep the Jello shots refrigerated after making them -- preferably over night. If you're taking them to an outdoor party, put them in a cooler with ice in the bottom of it. This will help them to maintain their jiggle all night long!

You can use any flavor of Jello with practically any liquor, though Vodka works very well because it doesn't alter the flavor of the Jello too much. Of course, Jello shot recipes can be doubled or tripled depending on your party size.
